Once again, this comes in a bit late, but it’s one of my favorite posts to write, so you get to read it anyway. There were also 2 MAC games last night, neither of which are terribly interesting, but Miami barely escaped winless Akron, while Toledo dispatched Bowling Green. Now, on with my rankings.

The Top 25 this week is almost entirely resume based, I say almost because filling out the bottom with teams that blew away FCS schools was arbitrary and mostly done by where I had them pre-season. That being said, the teams that rose to the top of the list beat BCS schools, or at least FBS schools, then come some of the FCS winners and teams that went down swinging against the big boys.
That’s about it for the Fringe today- we ramp up again for week 2 tomorrow.
