After a 5 day feast of college football, the gods knew a couple days off were in order, that we might better process and appreciate what we’ve had. Time’s up, now we’re back for the second course. Also, the grown-ups start play tonight, which is a nice diversion to get us from Saturdays through to the Tuesday games that start soon.
Today on the Fringe we’ve got good stuff to get you ready for the week ahead: At least two weekend previews, your Thursday Night Football preview, and maybe a third conference if the momentum gets us that far. Tomorrow too, we’ll have a quick Fringe Hangover to recap tonight’s Temple-CMU game, Friday Night Football, and the rest of the weekend previews. If I can fit it in, I’ll have a separate “Game(s) of the Week” post since it might not be as obvious as week 1 was.
So come for the 12-9 record against the spread (you did read every single weekend preview last week, right?), stay to be the smartest guy (or lady) in the grandstand when the cupcakes roll into your town.
