Fringe Hangover, Saturday, October 24

Another Saturday arrives where I won’t be in front of the TV & Computer as much as I would like.  But the football rolls on, and things are just starting to get interesting in the conference races and chase for bowl bids.

Rutgers dealt Army another loss last night, dropping the Black Knights to 3-5 and meaning that they’ll need to win 3 of the last 4 to get bowl eligible.  Otherwise, C-USA gets another bowl bid.

Some TV highlights today:

Noon- Central Michigan at Bowling Green (regional/360)

3:30- North Texas at Troy (regional/360), Wake Forest at Navy (CBSC), Air Force at Utah (4 PM, Versus), Idaho at Nevada (360)

7:30- SMU at Houston (CBSC), and of course BYU at TCU on Versus, if you happen to get that one.

I’m hoping to find a Versus feed somewhere out there, because that’s going to be a good one.  Don’t forget that Gameday is on campus at Provo, which is double-rare since it’s a non-BCS game and ESPN doesn’t even have the game that night.  I’ll be gone during the noon session and some of the second wave, but watch for a live-blog happening at Gally‘s place anyway, and I’ll pop in when I get home.
